The Face #1

Why hello there, I missed you all so so much and I apologize for disappearing without notice.
Today's look emphasizes the lips while keeping the rest of the face close to bare and honestly, this trend has dominated my entire summer.

Complexion Perfection

Other than periodic stress breakouts, my skin has been doing very well. But regardless of how my skin chooses to behave, I truly do appreciate the power of a lightweight light to medium coverage foundation/ base so I opted for the new Marc Jacobs Genius Gel Foundation in #86, I used Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Cafe to cover up dark circles (or excess baggage, lol) then I set it all with Chanel Les Beiges #70.

The Eyes

For my eyes, I really wanted something that screams "bare", I used 2 matte shadows by Bobbi Brown,  Cocoa #13 all over my lids and Black Plum in my crease. Using Clarins 3 dot liner, I applied it very close to my lash line to create an illusion of fuller lashes then I va va voomed my lashes with Chanel Le Volume Mascara.

The Cheeks

I wanted a natural flush on my cheeks that is extremely brown girl friendly and I used Bobbi Brown's Plum Blush and highlighted with the ever so gorgeous Sephora Micro Smooth Baked Luminizer in Star Dust.

The Lips

So here is the fun part, my favorite lip combo so far this year. I lined my lips with Mac Currant Lip Liner, then I applied Mac Heroine Lipstick and glossed it up with YSL Glossy Stain #30 Mauve Fusain.

Hope you've enjoyed reading and I'll definitely keep these coming.

xoxo
Michelle

  10. PS: (lol)
Could you please add a search bar? Or maybe have a sidebar which organises your posts by month? It's because I have been working my way backwards through all your posts but when I shut down my computer then revisit your blog another time it's tough figuring out where I last looked. If I can read through eg by month it's a bit easier on us newbies.
    Thanks!
